On the way to the airport from Shawn’s hometown, we stopped at Udipi in Monroeville for a late lunch. About 4 or 5 years ago, I went to Udipi pretty much once per week for fantastic and cheap South Indian veg food. I haven’t been back in at least four years, but a bunch of the guys still remembered me, which was very nice. And the butter masala dosa was better than I even remembered. I need to try to get there more often. Best dosas, best rasam, best sambar, best poori.
