I just need to say this.
2013 has been a horrible year for me. My life has been shattered, in multiple ways, I’ve had shit thrown at me in all...

Simon got me King of Tokyo for my birthday, and I’m totally hooked! It’s designed by Richard Garfield (Magic: The Gathering, anyone?), and it’s such a beautifully constructed game that reminds me of Rampage, one of my favorite videogames. Basically, you play as a monster and you battle competitors to take control of Tokyo. Rounds are short, and you can play with anywhere between 2 and 6 players. All the artifacts (dice, cards, character placards) are beautifully designed, too! While the game isn’t cheap ($40), you’ll certainly get your money’s worth, as King of Tokyo has excellent replay value. You can grab a set from Amazon, or better yet, your local hobby store!
This looks fun!
